There’s always something happening at BC de Lobbers! From badminton training sessions and competitive matches to social events, we ensure there’s something for everyone. Here’s a look at some of our key activities:
Rijncup Tournament
A well-known tournament in May that features competitive matches for players from every level, a barbecue, and a fun party in de Woeste Hoeve. Read more about the tournament here!
Club Magazine – Larry’s Diary
Published three times a year, it’s filled with stories, news, and highlights from our members.
Social Events
We organize a variety of social activities organized by the activity committee or the board. For example Sinterklaas, a BBQ and a New Year’s drink, and other activities that vary each year, like laser gaming or pooling.
Lobbersweekend
In June, the board and the activity committee organize a camping weekend at a secret location filled with activities.
Badminton-Related Activities
Besides our regular training sessions and competitions, we also organize several badminton-related activities throughout the year:
- Bring-a-Friend Tournament: Members can invite their friends who don’t play badminton to join in on the fun and play matches together.
- Club Championships: A tournament where we decide the club champions in the beginners and advanced categories.
- Various Tournaments: We host multiple tournaments throughout the year to keep the competitive spirit alive and provide opportunities for members to showcase their skills.
